RFP - Golden Mussel Response & Control Plan
The Solano County Water Agency (SCWA) is seeking a Firm to prepare a Golden Mussel Response and Control Plan (GMRCP) should golden mussels (Limnoperna fortunei) be discovered in either the Solano Project or the North Bay Aqueduct (NBA), which are regional water infrastructure projects for Napa and Solano County.

VI. Study Objectives
The purpose of this study is to assist SCWA with developing a Golden Mussel Response and Control Plan to protect Solano County’s water resources and water conveyance infrastructure. The GMRCP should be developed using sound science-based information and real-world case studies, as well as state and federal regulatory frameworks to ensure that the implementation of such a plan will be achievable.
